Breaker one niner…
November 29, 2007 12:00 am [No Comments]
I’ve been trying to figure out what is being said in the CB chatter in Revolver by Hooverphonic forever, and for some reason today I could hear it just fine when I could never figure it out before. I found the sample, eventually, on Google.
“Breaker one niner, are there any Smokeys with ears on? If you want a smokey good buddy…”
“If you want a smokey good buddy try channel nine. You’re not gonna find any on this one. I’ve got a ten thirtythree here and I’m looking for a bear. What’s your handle good buddy? My handle is Landcraft and I’m pushing an eighteen wheeler. Landcraft there’s no bears on this interstate. Is there anyone hurt on that ten thirtythree?”
Glad that’s solved…
AVRFuses for Mac OS X
November 27, 2007 12:00 am [No Comments]
Last weekend I spent some time rewriting AVRFuses in Cocoa specifically for Mac. The old version required Mono and X11 and was a big pain in the ass on Mac, plus it didn’t seem to work in Leopard. Since I wrote it for Mac in the first place with Linux and Windows support being a random bonus I decided it was time to start over.
The new version of AVRFuses is completely rewritten in Cocoa and looks and feels like any other Mac app. I also added support for erasing, programming and verifying flash and EEPROM and verification of fuses. I intend to add the same for lock bits eventually.
I haven’t updated the web page for AVRFuses yet, but for now you can download the new version by clicking here. So, give it a try and tell me what you think!
Customer Service

I emailed a company regarding a broken item yesterday and today, within about 15 minutes, I received two responses from two different people at the company. Look at the difference between the two. No wonder people get so frustrated with customer service.
We will send one out to you at the below address at no charge.
Have a great week-end!

Comments: I recently bought a a used HJTS-761 mobile base for a Jet JWTS-10JF. This mobile base has two three prong plastic handles attached to bolts which are used to lock the front wheels in position. One of the handles is broken and I was wondering if you sell a replacement part for it? Thanks!
Thank you for your interest in our products. We recommend a Style Q, heavy duty base, price of $308.99 plus $17.95 shipping.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.
Thank you and have a great week-end!

I couldn’t find an online manual for my new (to me) table saw anywhere so I scanned mine.
